Widerøe is the largest regional airline in Scandinavia, with a staff of 3,000 and a turnover of NOK 3.5 billion. The company carries around 2.8 million passengers annually and flies to 50 domestic and international destinations.
2018 is a great year for Widerøe with the launch of the brand new Embraer 190-E2 aircraft. Widerøe is the first airline in the world to put the Embraer E190-E2 into commercial opertaions.
Widerøe is also opening new international routes to Liverpool, Hamburg, Munich, London, Billund and Gothenburg, and at the end of 2018 Widerøe is launching a new website and new mobile check-in.

WIDERØE'S FLYVESELSKAP AS
More than 2.8 million passengers traveled with Widerøe's airline company AS in 2017. Daily, the airline has over 400 departures. Widerøe's Flyveselskap AS operates 40 Dash 8 aircraft, which operate more than 46 airports at home and abroad. The airline operates more than twice as many airports in Norway as some other companies. The commercial routes currently comprise around 60% of Widerøe's Flyveselskap AS business, while the tender routes on the short-haul network amount to 40 per cent.
In April 2018 we received our first Embraer E190-E2 jet plane. Three planes are ordered with an option of another 12 pieces.

Widerøe Ground Handling AS supplies ground services at 42 airports in Norway. The company offers all the products necessary for the airlines. Traditional handling of passengers and luggage, cargo and de-icel of aircraft are key product areas for the business.

WIDERØE TECHNICAL SERVICES AS
Widerøe Technical Services AS provides technical services in Tromsø, Bodø, Bergen and Torp. The main base for heavy technical maintenance of aircraft is located in Bodø. The company is an approved maintenance organization according to JAR-145.

Widerøe Internet AS operates wideroe.no and approximately 35% of the airline tickets in the group are sold through wideroe.no. Widerøe Internet AS also handles Widerøe's Flyveselskap AS internet customer support. The company also carries out fraud detection for both airline and external customers.
