In Oslo, there is a quarter for every kind of person. Our diverse capital has a special charm.

Fly to Oslo

Oslo has concerts, culture and coffee – perhaps the best in the world? A visit here will fill you up. There are plenty of exciting sights and specialities to ingest.

We already mentioned the coffee. Grünerløkka is the place to find it, alongside all the niche shops and nice little eateries of this urban quarter. Mathallen is a good place to get your lunch. A new focus on quality foods has entered the city along with this modern food hall.

The city center is all about shopping. You can find exclusive international brands like Gucci and Chanel on the main walking street, Karl Johans gate. Paleet offers a more urban selection, and Prinsens gate features Norwegian, French and American design.

Activities in Oslo

Oslo is a city of culture. For the past few years, it has really defended its position as a metropolis, alongside New York, London and Paris.

It started with the new Opera House in Bjørvika. The intriguing and inviting architecture combines with culture and infrastructure to pull you in. We highly recommend a tour of the building. If the weather is warm, you could go for a swim at Sørenga.

Oslo is a young city that is constantly evolving. At the same time, it has deep and ancient roots. If you visit the museums at Bygdøy, you will see what we mean. You can get to know Viking ships, polar explorations, folk music, and the Kon-Tiki – the raft that took Thor Heyerdal on his expedition across the Pacific in 1947.
